From the Publisher; Due to the economic conditions the printed edition of Wild West Gazette is suspended. The www.wildwestgazette.com web site will carry over as the news source for the western events we have always done. At this time www.wildwestgazette.com is not being updated. We are in the process of revamping this site in order to improve our service to you, the western era enthusiast; our client. Everything we provided in the past will continue. In addition, we will be supporting several new and exciting adventures. With a lot of hard work we hope to be posting new material soon. He has made some improvements to the website with an eye toward generating more revenue and keeping it going. That is good.
But I want to keep the newspaper going too! So send me your articles and advertising so I can get her into print again!

Leslie Fort wrote the winning entry for "Name the Publisher" Contest. Since she was in school with me back in the early 1880's she should know. when I put her pigtails into the ink well she would yell "stop it you dink". When she addressed the letter to Frank "Inky Dink" Webster I instantly recalled all those memories.
Thanks Leslie.
Thanks Leslie.
Yuma - The Wild West Gazette has established a presence in most of the great State of Arizona. We are fortunate to have met Ms Patricia Etter, an expert in the southern routes to California, established long before the Oregon Trail. Throughout the next few months the emphasis on the Yuma Crossing will increase in anticipation of the Convention in January of 2009.
I am new to this idea called a blog. If I don't follow protocol or goof it up it is not my fault. The keyboard did it.
I hope to get a great conversation through this medium.
The Wild West Gazette (WWG) is planning events with 4 wheel drive tours, side car tours, and historical tours to occur during the remainder of this year.

Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo Parade July 5th included an entry from Shuttle U and Wild West Gazette! As number 157 out of 200 entries the crew got to see most of the parade pass them by before they got to join in. Their entry included a Shuttle U van pulling a trailer fashioned with a mock stagecoach and folks walking along side to hand out newspapers and flags. Hundred of parade goers enjoyed the free copy of Wild West Gazette and an American or Arizona Flag.
"The Arizona Flag was especially popular with kids running up to us for the flag," says Arizona Duuude Bob Roloff. "Everyone already had an American flag and they all wanted the Arizona flag."
Arizona Duuude wears a custom made Arizona Flag shirt that always attracts attention. His big straw cowboy hat and huge silver buckle compete the Duuude look. You can learn more about the Arizona Duuude at www.arizonaduuude.com . He attends many events along with Wild West Gazette.
The events schedule for the Wild West Gazette is online at www.wildwestgazette.com/events.htm as well as printing in the WWG newspaper.
Thank you to Chuck and his crew at Shuttle U for taking WWG along for the ride!

Wild West Gazette joined the excitement of 4th of July Fireworks at the Satisfied Frog and Frontier Town in Cave Creek AZ. After a great dinner we all enjoyed meeting folks gathered for the fireworks display.
Even with the threat of thunderstorms the show went on and proclaimed the joy of freedom!
